- Qualification. You can apply if you have passed Class 12 (or an equivalent exam) or are appearing in it in the exam year.
- Age. There is no age limit for CUET UG. A university may still have its own age rule for a course.
- Year of passing. Whether an older Class 12 pass year is accepted depends on each university's rules, not NTA's.
- Subject choice. You may choose any subjects in CUET, even ones you did not study in Class 12. But each university decides which CUET subjects it needs for each course, so check the course rules before you pick.
- Admission is not automatic. Taking CUET does not give you a seat. You must also meet the university's own eligibility and apply on its admission portal.
