JEE Main questions
What is the JEE Main exam pattern?
Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) has Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in one 180-minute sitting. Since 2025 each subject has 20 multiple-choice and 5 numerical-value questions, all compulsory: 75 questions and 300 marks.
Is there negative marking in JEE Main?
Yes. A correct answer earns +4 and a wrong answer −1. From 2021 the −1 applies to numerical-value questions too; in 2020 numericals carried no negative marking. Unanswered questions score 0.
What changed in Section B?
From 2021 to 2024 each subject had 10 numerical questions of which you answered any 5. In 2025 the choice was removed and Section B has 5 compulsory questions.
Is a calculator allowed?
No. JEE Main has no on-screen calculator, so these mocks have none either.
Are these the official JEE Main papers?
No. The questions are original and written to match each year's official pattern, syllabus and difficulty. Use them alongside the official NTA papers.
