CTET questions
Is there negative marking in CTET?
No. Each of the 150 questions carries 1 mark and there is no penalty for a wrong answer, so attempt every question.
What is the CTET exam pattern for Paper 1 and Paper 2?
Both papers have 150 multiple-choice questions in 150 minutes. Paper I (Classes I–V) has Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies, 30 questions each. Paper II (Classes VI–VIII) has Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I and Language II (30 each) plus either Mathematics & Science or Social Studies (60).
What are the CTET qualifying marks?
CBSE treats 60% (90 out of 150) as a pass. School managements and governments may give concessions to reserved categories as per their own rules.
Can I take the mock in Hindi?
Yes. Every paper has an English and a Hindi language section, and you choose which one is Language I before you start, just as you do on the CTET application.
Are these the official CTET question papers?
No. The questions are original and written to match each sitting's official pattern, topics and difficulty. Use them alongside the official CBSE papers.
