- Degree. A bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST and PwBD) from a recognised university.
- Professional courses. A completed CA, CS, ICWA (CMA) or FIAI qualification with the required percentage is also accepted.
- Final-year students. Students in the final year of their degree, or waiting for results, can apply. They must later show they completed the degree with the required marks.
- Age. No age limit.
- Attempts. No limit on the number of attempts.
- Work experience. Not required to take CAT. Some IIMs give extra points for it at the shortlisting stage.
