Show answer and solution

Answer: 40

Acid taken =40×0.5×2=40=40\times0.5\times2=40 meq (H2_2SO4_4 is dibasic). Unreacted acid =30×1.00=30=30\times1.00=30 meq of NaOH. Acid neutralised by NH3=40−30=10\mathrm{NH_3}=40-30=10 meq, which equals 1010 mmol NH3\mathrm{NH_3} and hence 1010 mmol N =140=140 mg. Percentage =0.1400.350×100=40%=\frac{0.140}{0.350}\times100=40\%.
