UPSC releases two official cut-offs after the final result: the minimum written qualifying marks (out of 900) needed to be called for SSB, and the total marks of the last candidate recommended in the final merit list (written + SSB, out of 1800). Recent cycles also required at least 25% in each written paper. From NDA (II) 2025, UPSC has given separate figures for men and women. Cut-offs change every cycle with seats, the number of candidates and paper difficulty.
