Show answer and solution

Answer: (B) ₹9,000

Profits are shared in the ratio of capital × time.

Arun: 40,000 × 12 = 4,80,000
Bala: 60,000 × 9 = 5,40,000
Chitra: 80,000 × 6 = 4,80,000

Ratio = 48 : 54 : 48 = 8 : 9 : 8 (total 25 parts).

Bala's share = 9/25 × 25,000 = ₹9,000.
