Answer: 6

Four types of hydrogen: (i) (CH3)2\mathrm{(CH_3)_2} on C2\mathrm{C_2} gives 1-chloro-2-methylbutane, which has a stereocentre at C2\mathrm{C_2} (2 enantiomers); (ii) tertiary H gives 2-chloro-2-methylbutane (1); (iii) CH2\mathrm{CH_2} gives 2-chloro-3-methylbutane, with a stereocentre at C2\mathrm{C_2} (2); (iv) terminal CH3\mathrm{CH_3} gives 1-chloro-3-methylbutane (1). Total =2+1+2+1=6=2+1+2+1=6.
