Single correct option

Which of the statements is/are correct?
1. The conjugate of 1+i1−i\dfrac{1+i}{1-i} is −i-i.
2. If ∣z1∣=∣z2∣|z_1|=|z_2| then z1=z2z_1=z_2.
  1. A. 1 only
  2. B. 2 only
  3. C. Both 1 and 2
  4. D. Neither 1 nor 2
Show answer and solution

Answer: (A) 1 only

1+i1−i=(1+i)22=i\frac{1+i}{1-i}=\frac{(1+i)^2}{2}=i, whose conjugate is −i-i, so 1 is true. Equal moduli only mean the points lie on the same circle about the origin, e.g. 11 and −1-1, so 2 is false.
