Only statement 1 is correct. Shivaji held a grand coronation at Raigad in 1674 and took the title Chhatrapati. Statement 2 is false: by the Treaty of Purandar (1665) he surrendered several forts to Jai Singh, he escaped from Aurangzeb's custody at Agra in 1666, and he died a natural death in 1680.
