Show answer and solution
Answer: (C) Gowalia Tank Maidan, Bombay
After the AICC passed the Quit India resolution on 8 August 1942, Gandhi gave the 'Do or Die' call at Gowalia Tank Maidan, now called August Kranti Maidan. Most leaders were arrested the next morning, and underground leaders like Aruna Asaf Ali, Jayaprakash Narayan and Usha Mehta carried on. Jallianwala Bagh is linked to 1919, and the other sites are not associated with the call.
